The Boiling Method
The Second Nineteen essences (except White Chestnut) are prepared using the boiling method. Bach used the intensity of the boiling method as a mirror to the intensity of emotional states reflected in the Second Nineteen remedies.
The Boiling Method
Boiling method remedies are made using pure spring water in a clean enamel pan. The flowers and stems are placed in the pan and covered with a litre of spring water.
They are then simmered for 30 minutes. After this time a twig from the same plant is used to remove the flowers and the contents are filtered ready for the next stage.
