We then suggest you select remedies in this order:
See if among the Second Nineteen there are remedies corresponding to emotional conditions arising in everyday life.
See if there is a chronic condition among the Seven Helpers which describes how you have become accustomed to dealing with life.
See if one of the Twelve Healers fits your personality or essential nature. For example an Impatiens type is tense and irritable, Mimulus people are shy and nervous.
Choose up to five remedies, normally only one from the '12' group.
Each of the remedy states which Dr Bach described has a  positive and  negative aspect. He saw the negative conditions as the true cause of illness and disease, the positive states are encouraged by the flower remedy. The flowers embody the positive state - their natural vibrations help us to be happy and to return to health.
Dr Bach also divided the remedies into seven groups of emotional states. When used in parallel with the 12-7-19 method, as above, these groups can help clarify and confirm your existing emotional condition. To see the emotional states, click on a plant remedy.
