How to use the remedies

The stock concentrate badge on every bottle of Healing Herbs’ Bach remedy is your assurance that the essence is designed for dilution

Making up the remedies

Healing Herbs’ traditional Bach flower remedies are prepared in the field and preserved in full-strength organic brandy. They should be diluted and, if desired, combined to make individual dosage remedies.

Up to five essences can be used in any one combination. Five Flower remedy counts as a single essence and can itself be used in combination with up to four others.

You will need an empty dropper bottle.

Put about 20ml of water into the bottle, then add two drops each of your chosen essences, adding a little brandy if desired as a preservative. This is your personal remedy at its 'dosage strength'. Take four drops of this dilution, four times daily.

Alternatively, for short term problems put two drops of each stock remedy into a glass of water and sip at intervals until relief is obtained.

Dosage

Benefit is derived from regular use rather than by the volume of Bach remedy that is taken at any one time.

An inappropriate remedy will not hurt or cause adverse reaction. Remedies may be taken direct from the stock bottle but this has no greater benefit than the diluted remedy.

It is important, if possible, to work consciously with the remedies.
If you experience little or no change then you should review your formulation. Trust to instinct and intuition. Work with and explore the remedies dynamically. If taken in a glass of water for instance, the Bach remedy can be modified daily or in extreme circumstances, even hourly.

Working with the Bach flower remedies presents a challenge: Dr Bach’s flowers hold a mirror to our emotional and psychological state. They help us to understand how we respond to change. We can find a way to work with problems and difficulties. Individuals and their emotional condition are central to the experience and process of healing.

This is working with Bach flower remedies in daily life.
